Aina Alegre is interested in choreographic creation
as a terrain for opening up imaginary worlds around the body. Influenced by fiction as genre and practice, her work explores the body in plastic environments, and her writing is closely linked to rhythm and music.
STUDIES is a research and performance project conceived in 2018 around the action of hammering and the memory this gesture contains.
STUDIES is the gathering of people and territories as well as the collection of stories, practices and dances linked to the gestures and sounds of hammering. A work based on memory, archives and the spoken word as a choreographic driving force.
