Aina Alegre freely interprets the dance and energy of bailaora Carmen Amaya. This artist had a varied career, from Barcelona's gypsy quarter to Hollywood, from the World's Fair to the White House, from the flamenco tradition to Ravel's Bolero. This ghost permeates the bodies, sound and light of Aina Alegre's new piece. Seizing on this heritage that they revisit, the dancers enter the ball, propelling themselves through the electrified space and summoning the energy of this figure through their own dazzling dance!
