BLAU originated from an invitation by the Musée de Grenoble to Aina Alegre to create a performance in conjunction with the MIRÓ exhibition. She thus conceived a dance and visual art piece lasting approximately two and a half hours, exploring the transformation of the body through color. She begins with blue, the primary color in the Catalan painter’s work, and minimal elements such as dots and lines, which are frequently found in his paintings.
