With verve! It begins with a Madison, a lively little line dance that’s a hit on the dance floor. But Vivace will then surprise us: set to music ranging from pop and baroque to electro, all with fast-paced rhythms, the choreography unfolds into an astonishing journey of music and movement. It must be said that “Vivace” is the term used in musical notation to describe a rapid pulse (“with verve,” as they say). It is also used to name those plants, constantly engaged in a strategy of survival… Overwhelmed by rhythm and impulse, the dancers become the vivacious bodies of a new kind, full of vitality, tenacity, and persistence.
