land[e]scapes 4 is part of a series of works by visual artist Jan Fedinger on the relationship between man and nature. In this piece, light, sound and space become corporeal presences. Inspired by landscape art, he stages landscapes and natural phenomena disconnected from their environment, inviting us to imagine a future nature and to reflect on the impact of human beings on the environment. Immersed in a luminous, electronic soundscape, spectators are plunged into a sensitive and gripping experience.
An on-stage discussion with the artist is offered to the audience after each performance.
Jan Fedinger is a visual artist whose preferred tool is light. He is known for his lighting creations for artists such as Jan Martens, Aina Alegre, Jefta van Dinther and Daniel Linehan. In his personal works, human performers are replaced by agents of light, sound and space, creating environments of experience and questioning reality and realities.
Jan Fedinger is associate artist at the Centre chorégraphique national de Grenoble (2025-2026).
