The CCN in Grenoble is supporting the initiative by the Confidences theater company, led by Julie Callet, to establish a professional theater company made up of teenagers.
The Immersion Group invites teenagers ages 12 to 18 to fully engage in a process of choreographic research and creation to enjoy a unique experience. Dance creation, experienced collectively, offers an ideal setting for each young dancer to express themselves.
Choreographer Julie Callet’s intention is to guide each participant in discovering their own uniqueness while uniting the group around a shared project. The creative process engages not only the body through movement but also the mind through critical reflection and discussion of various themes.
The CCN in Grenoble provides the Immersion group with access to its dance studio and organizes opportunities for sharing and experimentation centered on the world of Aina Alegre. The young dancers from the Confidences company will also be regularly invited to the National Choreographic Center in Grenoble to meet with the artists in residence.
