WITH CORINNE GARCIA

FOR PROS DANCERS
As a movement specialist and choreographic artist, Corinne Garcia offers support for artists using the Feldenkrais Method. Taking as her starting point the fundamental challenges faced by performers - moving from one choreographic universe to another, fitting into the choreographer's "expectations" while asserting their own choreographic identity - she reflects on the performer's ability to adapt in a context she calls "choreographic plasticity". She will share with participants times of practice and exchange in Feldenkrais, enabling everyone to empirically question choreographic plasticity and their individual motor signature, and in dance to explore this questioning in improvisation and choreographic writing. Participants are invited to reflect and bring extracts of choreographic scores they have danced.
