As part of
Eté culturel 2024, a national program that supports free artistic and cultural events accessible to all during the summer, CCN Grenoble is investing in two Isère communes: Val-de-Virieu and Mizoën.
On the program for both events:
STUDY 4, FANDANGO AND OTHER CADENCES,
a show by Aina Alegre.

Having been developing a study project around the gesture of hammering for several years, Aina Alegre asked Yannick Hugron to talk about his experience as a former dancer of Basque folk dances. She extended this research by talking to other people who practiced this music and dance, and collected fragments of their stories. With these words as support, the dancers⸱euse⸱s on stage map and reinterpret narratives and gestures, collected during these conversations. They activate bodily memories and compose their own choreographic fiction.
