The dance is a popular tradition that spans ages and cultures. With BALATATA, Magda Kachouche presents a new, multicultural, and polyphonic form of it, inviting everyone to dance together in a creative, joyful, and transformative celebration. She creates a collective and participatory experience, driven by a festive ritual that blends tradition and modernity. Alongside Gaspard Guilbert, composer and DJ, Magda Kachouche serves as the master of ceremonies. Jacky Medefo and Bernadette Tisseau, two other wild-hearted troublemakers, accompanied by amateur collaborators, guide the participants in the dance.
